We drive millions of dollars per year in revenue to our partners and sponsors, providing like-minded brands with unique access to a monthly audience of more than 200,000 motivated healthy living enthusiasts across four main brand segments: 

  1. MichaelKummer.com — a healthy living site that features meticulously-researched educational articles, in-depth product reviews, “best of” lists and more. 
  2. MK Supplements — a leading purveyor of small-batch, animal-based dietary supplements such as beef liver capsules and collagen powder. 
  3. The Primal Shift Podcast — a highly-rated weekly podcast where Michael shares his personal health and fitness insights and interviews some of the biggest names in the wellness and biohacking community. 
  4. The Kummer Homestead — where Michael and his wife Kathy write about their journey to self-sustainability, including tips for raising chickens, rabbits and honeybees.

Please note that we receive many more review requests than we can accommodate. Display Advertising

Fee: $750 per 50,000 impressions. We have approximately six 50K blocks available per month, and you may purchase any number of those blocks.

Our display advertising program offers incredible value, giving brands access to a focused, motivated audience that is ready and willing to invest in their health. In Q4 2024 and Q1 2025, our advertisers enjoyed average CPCs as low as 10 to 20 cents.

  • Choose to run in-content landscape ads, sidebar skyscraper ads, or both. 
  • Run your own ads or have us design them for you (free of charge). 
  • Our inventory and costs are reevaluated quarterly. Inventory typically sells out, so reserve your space early.

Instagram Reels

Fee: $450 per Reel.

Our current Instagram audience is 17,000+ followers. Sponsored reels are 60 or 90-second video clips that present a product’s benefits (and how Michael uses the product). You’ll be added as a collaborator when the Reel is published, and the video content is based on your guidelines.

Newsletter Sponsorship

Fee: $500 per newsletter.

Our monthly healthy living newsletter reaches 18,000+ confirmed subscribers. Sponsorship includes a blurb explaining the benefits of the product at the beginning of the newsletter — including how Michael uses it, discount codes and links to further information (if applicable). It also includes a reference to more information at the bottom of the email.

Bespoke Emails

Fee: $1,000, and bespoke emails are limited to one per partner, per quarter.

If we believe that your brand or product legitimately has the potential to help our audience improve their health, fitness or overall wellness, and we think they’d be genuinely excited to learn about it, we will write and send a long-form email (approximately 750 words) aimed at raising awareness, in compliance with our editorial guidelines

Podcast Sponsorship

Fee: $450 per episode.

30 or 45-second host-read ad roll, plus a shout out to the sponsor at the end of the episode and a mention of the sponsor in the email blast announcing the episode.

YouTube Pre-Roll Ad

Fee: $450 per video.

Michael’s YouTube channel currently has 85,000+ subscribers, and the Kummer Homestead channel has 43,000+. Pre-roll ads are 60 or 90-second clips that appear in the first third of a video. Ad content is based on the sponsor’s guidelines, but the video will be marked as sponsored.
